Summary

At its meeting on December 17 and 18, 2024, City Council considered Item NC15.3, entitled "Appointment of a Public Member to the CreateTO Board" and appointed Sheerin Sheikh to the CreateTO Board for a term of office starting on December 19, 2024 and ending on March 28, 2026.

All members are appointed at pleasure of Council and serve until successors are appointed.

This appointment is the result of the resignation of the former Chair, Ron Carinci, on November 4, 2024, and City Council’s appointment of a sitting member, Allison Mendes, as Chair effective November 15, 2024.
