The Corporations Nominating Panel:

1. Selected the following candidates for interview for appointment to the Toronto Hydro Board:

Candidate THY2-496; 

Candidate THY2-590;

Candidate THY2-624;

Candidate THY2-686; and

Candidate THY2-689.

2. Directed that Confidential Attachments 1a, 1b, and 2 to the report (April 16, 2025) from the City Clerk and Revised Confidential Attachments 1 and 2 to the report (May 13, 2025) from the City Clerk remain confidential in their entirety as they relate to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Toronto Hydro Board.

At its meeting on April 29, 2025, the Corporations Nominating Panel deferred the selection of candidates for interview for appointment to the Toronto Hydro Board to its meeting on May 29, 2025.

Since that meeting, additional candidates have applied for appointment to the Toronto Hydro Board. These applications are being submitted to the Panel for its consideration.

Additionally, this supplementary report includes a skills matrix for all highly qualified candidates who have applied for appointment to the Toronto Hydro Board to fill the vacancy.

City Council on May 21 and 22, 2025, referred Item NC16.1 back to the Corporations Nominating Panel for consideration at its May 29, 2025, meeting.

The Corporations Nominating Panel will select candidates to be interviewed for appointment to the Toronto Hydro Board. The Corporations Nominating Panel will conduct interviews at its next meeting and recommend two candidates to City Council for appointment.
