City Council Decision
City Council on October 8 and 9, 2025, adopted the following:
1. City Council direct the General Manager, Parks and Recreation, in consultation with Hydro One and the local Councillor and in consultation with the adjacent multi-residential buildings, as appropriate, to explore the feasibility of utilizing greenspace within the Hydro One corridor in Ward 3 (located behind 2 Fieldway Road), as outlined in Attachment 1 to Member Motion MM33.47, for use as a community garden, and to identify potential funding sources including but not limited to existing Section 37 funds, with a report back to the Etobicoke York Community Council in the second quarter of 2026.

Reason for Urgency:
This is urgent because there are 2026 Parks Capital Budget implications, which is currently being finalized.
