Summary

This staff report is about a matter that the Community Council has delegated authority from the City Council to make a final decision.

Transportation Review is requesting approval for various traffic regulations proposed under the City-owned Mount Dennis Child Care Centre (MDCC) located at 1234 Weston Road through Site Plan Control Application Number 18 146118 WET 11 SA. The proposed changes will facilitate 10-minute pick-up and drop-off activities flanking the site as well as introduce a left-turn prohibition south of the site to prevent infiltration into the community. The proposed traffic regulations are consistent with City policies and guidelines, given the operation of the roadways and the surrounding residential nature.
