Community Council Decision

The Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1. Authorized the installation of speed humps on Greenfield Drive, between Silverhill Drive and Shaver Avenue South.

 

2. Directed the City Solicitor to prepare a by-law to alter the roadway for the installation of three speed humps on Greenfield Drive, between Silverhill Drive and Shaver Avenue South, generally as shown on Attachment 2, Drawing TC-554 to the report (October 2, 2025) from the Director, Enforcement and Street Management, Transportation Services.

Summary

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision.

 

Transportation Services is recommending the installation of speed humps on Greenfield Drive, between Silverhill Drive and Shaver Avenue South. Staff's assessment indicates the criteria as set out in the Traffic Calming Policy has been satisfied. Therefore, speed humps should be installed on Greenfield Drive.
