Community Council Decision
The Etobicoke York Community Council:
1. Rescinded the existing though highway designation for Garnet Janes Road between the north side of Twelfth Street and the west side of Ninth Street.
2. Designated Garnett Janes Road between the east side of Twelfth Street and the west side of Ninth Street, as a through highway.
3. Rescinded the existing though highway for Twelfth Street between the north side of Lake Shore Boulevard West and the south side of Garnet Janes Road.
4. Designated Twelfth Street between the north side of Lake Shore Boulevard West and the north side of Garnett Janes Road, as a through highway.

Transportation Services is requesting authorization to amend the existing through highway designations on Twelfth Street and Garnett Janes Road. These amendments will permit the installation of a stop control for westbound traffic on Garnett Janes Road at Twelfth Street.
