Summary

This report provides information on the status of the Exhibition Place Health and Safety program, specifically on activities, priorities, and overall health and safety performance for the year ending 2024.

Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) invoiced costs for 2024 were approximately $23,000 higher than those in 2023. The higher fees are attributable to increases in recurring disability payments, medical expenses, and WSIB indexed benefits.

In 2024, there were four lost-time injuries and twelve medical aid injuries, representing an increase compared to 2023.
