The Confronting Anti-Black Racism Advisory Committee received the item for information.

Summary

The Terms of Reference for the Confronting Anti-Black Racism Advisory Committee state that the Committee will hold six meetings per year at the call of the Chair or Vice-Chair on the delegation of the Chair.

On July 23 and 24, 2025, City Council considered Item CC32.3 and adopted the meeting schedule for 2026 for City Council and its Committees. The schedule of meetings for the Confronting Anti-Black Racism Advisory Committee has been developed to avoid dates, whenever possible, that conflict with the approved City Council schedule and to avoid days of cultural or religious significance.

On January 31, 2023, City Council considered Item EX2.1 and established the Confronting Anti-Black Racism Advisory Committee the 2022-2026 City Council Term. The last regular meeting of City Council for the 2022-2026 term is scheduled for July 29, 30 and 31, 2026.

The Chair has scheduled the following meetings for 2026:

- Monday, January 12, 2026 at 9:30 a.m.

- Monday, March 23, 2026 at 9:30 a.m.

- Thursday, May 28, 2026 at 9:30 a.m.
