City Council Decision
City Council on March 26 and 27, 2025, adopted the following:
1. City Council appoint Kate Bassil to the position of Deputy City Manager, Community and Emergency Services for the City of Toronto, with such appointment to be effective April 22, 2025, subject to written acceptance of the terms and conditions of a contract of employment offered by the City.
2. City Council authorize the appropriate City officials to take the necessary action to give effect to City Council's decision, including the introduction in City Council of the necessary bill to appoint Kate Bassil as Deputy City Manager, Community and Emergency Services.
3. City Council authorize the public release of the Curriculum Vitae Summary of Kate Bassil in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (March 19, 2025) from the City Manager upon City Council's approval of the appointment.
4. City Council appoint Denise Andrea Campbell to the position of Deputy City Manager, Community Development and Social Services for the City of Toronto, with such appointment to be effective April 22, 2025, subject to written acceptance of the terms and conditions of a contract of employment offered by the City.
5. City Council authorize the appropriate City officials to take the necessary action to give effect to City Council's decision, including the introduction in City Council of the necessary bill to appoint Denise Andrea Campbell as Deputy City Manager, Community Development and Social Services.
6. City Council authorize the public release of the Curriculum Vitae Summary of Denise Andrea Campbell in Confidential Attachment 2 to the report (March 19, 2025) from the City Manager upon City Council's approval of the appointment.
