Description:

For Preventive Maintenance of Catch Basins, Grease Traps and Oil Interceptors for Corporate Real Estate Management, Children's Services, Seniors Services and Long-Term Care, Fleet Services, and Solid Waste Management Divisions.

 

The award is for an initial contract period of three (3) years from date of award to May 31, 2028, with an option in favour of the City to extend the contract under the same terms and conditions for up to additional two (2) separate one (1)-year periods.

 

Should the option year(s) be exercised, the Divisions will request the Chief Procurement Officer to process the renewals under the same terms and conditions.

 

Recommended Supplier:

GFL Environmental Services Inc.

 

Contract Award Value:

$6,023,348 net of all applicable taxes and charges

$6,806,383 including HST and all applicable charges

$6,129,358 net of HST recoveries

 

Contract is expected to start on date of award and end on May 31, 2028.

The total potential contract award including both option years is $10,221,420 net of all applicable taxes and charges, and $11,550,205 including HST and all applicable charges. The total potential cost to the City, including both option years, is $10,401,317 net of HST recoveries.

 

The values mentioned above include 20 percent miscellaneous amount for Seniors Services and Long-Term Care, Children's Services, and Solid Waste Management Services Divisions. Corporate Real Estate Management and Fleet Services Divisions do not require additional miscellaneous amount.

 

The above cost calculations reflect three percent (3 percent) Consumer Price Index adjustment applied to each year's cost after the initial three (3)-year period.
