The Aboriginal Affairs Advisory Committee:

1. Elected Dawn Sutherland as Vice-Chair of the Aboriginal Affairs Advisory Committee for a term of office ending November 14, 2026.

There were three nominations for Vice Chair. Crystal Samms declined the nomination. Paige Kimiksana-Kreps declined the nomiation. Dawn Sutherland accepted the nomination.

The Chair declared Dawn Sutherland the Vice-Chair of the Aboriginal Affairs Advisory Committee.

Summary

In accordance with Section B4 of the Terms of Reference, at its first meeting or as soon as possible, the Aboriginal Affairs Advisory Committee will elect a Vice Chair from among its public members at its first meeting or as soon as possible thereafter.
