Community Council Decision

The Toronto and East York Community Council:

1. Authorized the installation of traffic control signals at the intersection of Lake Shore Boulevard East and Booth Avenue.

2. Rescinded the existing prohibition of eastbound and southbound left turns in effect at all times at the intersection of Lake Shore Boulevard East and Booth Avenue, in conjunction with the installation of traffic control signals at the intersection of Lake Shore Boulevard East and Booth Avenue.

Summary

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision.

Transportation Services is requesting approval to install traffic control signals at the intersection of Lake Shore Boulevard East and Booth Avenue. Traffic control signals will provide enhanced safety for all road users and are justified based on the future redevelopment of the area.
