2. Directed the City Solicitor to prepare a By-law to alter the roadway to install three speed humps on Cavell Avenue, between Carlaw Avenue and Pape Avenue, generally as shown on Attachment 1, Drawing No. TC-231, to the letter (January 19, 2024) from Councillor Paula Fletcher.

Summary

Cavell Avenue is a residential street, between Pape Avenue and Carlaw Avenue. I have heard from residents concerned about the volume and speed of traffic on this street – as it is the common route when driving in the direction of Withrow Park (Southbound from Pape Avenue). I have polled the street and 86% of the 28 local residents support the installation of speed humps on Cavell Avenue.
