Origin
Summary
I am writing to you today to request your support in amending the on-street parking regulations on the west side of Peter Street, between Richmond Street West and Adelaide Street West in connection to the new development at 108 Peter Street. Under current conditions, the existing motorcycle parking area on this section of Peter Street encroaches into the new driveway that services this building. Transportation Services is recommending that the existing motorcycle parking remain but must be shortened to deter parking in this area and blocking the driveway. The proposed amendment will resolve this discrepancy.
