Origin
Summary
This proposed motion is intended to address pedestrian safety concerns for students and residents. The subject area is a tight cul-de-sac affecting six houses near a local high school. The high volume of student drop-offs and students parking their vehicles in the cul-de-sac obscure site lines for residents backing out their vehicles from adjacent driveways. The proposed bylaw amendments will add an important safety mechanism for pedestrians.
