Summary
The importance of safety for our seniors and families as they walk and drive on our streets is paramount. Given the number of seniors’ residences, long term care facilities, townhomes and businesses that line Scottfield Drive, there is ongoing concern that the vehicular traffic in this area needs to be slowed in order to increase safety.
This motion is a direct response to community concerns by calling for safety adjustments on Scottfield Drive between Middlefield Road and Finch Avenue East to ensure the safety of local residents and all road users.
