Origin
Summary
Area residents continuously contact my Councillor Ainslie’s office asking for changes to be made to address traffic backlog, and pedestrian/driver safety along the stretch of Military Trail in front of St. John Paull II Catholic Secondary School and Military Trail Public School.
To address residents’ concerns, an onsite meeting took place on March 28, 2023, and attended by Traffic Operations staff, Principals from St. John Paul II Catholic Secondary School and Military Trail Public Elementary and their perspective Parent Council members, to determine first had what changes can be implemented to improve conditions on the Military Trail.
After a comprehensive discussion and observation of current conditions for pedestrians and drivers on the stretch of Military Trail, Traffic Operations prepared their recommendations before you to improve driver and pedestrian safety.
