Summary

At the community meeting on March 19, 2024, area residents expressed their concerns with the current location of the parking regulation sign on the north side of Oakmeadow Boulevard at the northern intersection of Oakmeadow Boulevard and Neilson Road (located just south of the 401).

The issues revolve around vehicles being permitted to park on the north side of the street so close to the intersection. Traffic congestion/backlog on Neilson Road and Oakmeadow Boulevard and difficulty being able to enter/exit Oakmeadow Boulevard at Neilson Road intersection safely.

Traffic Operations was contacted to have the no parking regulations extended further west along Oakmeadow Boulevard to address the residents’ concerns, as this would ensure clear and safer access when entering/exiting Oakmeadow Boulevard at Neilson Road intersection. Recommendation necessary to make the change is before you.
