Community Council Decision
The Scarborough Community Council:
1. Authorized the installation of speed humps on White Heather Boulevard, between McNicoll Avenue and Sandhurst Circle.
2. Directed the City Solicitor to prepare a by-law to alter the roadway for the installation of ten speed humps on White Heather Boulevard, between McNicoll Avenue and Sandhurst Circle, generally as shown on Attachments 5 and 6 to the report (April 18, 2024) from the Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services, Drawing Number's TC-264 and TC-265 dated April 2024, attached to the report entitled "Traffic Calming (Speed Humps) - White Heather Boulevard" from the Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services.
3. Subject to approval of Parts 1 and 2 above, reduced the speed limit from 40 kilometres per hour to 30 kilometres per hour on White Heather Boulevard, between McNicoll Avenue and Sandhurst Circle, in conjunction with the installation of speed humps.
