The Scarborough Community Council:

 

1. Refused to grant the application for an exemption, by the property owner(s) of 4061 Sheppard Avenue East for a fence that fails to comply with the provisions of Toronto Municipal Code, Chapter 447, Fences and to direct the issuance of a notice to the property owner(s) to bring the fence into compliance.

Summary

This staff report concerns a matter for which the Scarborough Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision.

 

The purpose of this report is to consider an application by the owner(s) of 4061 Sheppard Ave East for a proposed fence around the full perimeter at the property. 

 

The proposed fencing will span 220 Feet across the front property line and measure 2.43 meters in height.  The fence will be constructed of chain link with a roller gate at the front.  The remaining chain link fence around the perimeter will be 2.083 meters in height.

 

This is contrary to the Toronto Municipal Code, Chapter 447-1.2 C (1)
