Community Council Decision

The Scarborough Community Council:  

 

1. Prohibited parking from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the south side of Toynbee Trail, between Livingston Road (south intersection) and a point 210.5 metres east.

Summary

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision. 

 

Transportation Services is recommending that the parking regulations on Toynbee Trail, adjacent to St. Ursula Catholic Elementary School (2151 Livingstone Road), be amended. The proposed changes will align the operating times of the short-term parking areas with the school's hours of operation and will assist in ensuring safer traffic flow during peak times for all modes.

That:

 

1. Scarborough Community Council delete Recommendations 1 to 3 in the report (January 3, 2024) from the Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services and replace with the following:

 

"1. Scarborough Community Council prohibit parking to be in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the south side of Toynbee Trail, between Livingston Road (south intersection) and a point 210.5 metres east.”
