December 17, 2024 at 10:24 a.m. - Speaker Nunziata advised Council of the following:
Members, I will now review the Order Paper. Once the Order Paper has been approved by Council, any change will need a two‑thirds vote.
The City Clerk has posted today's Order Paper online, with agenda item RM24.7 – Review of the Order Paper. If Council adopts any amendments to the Order Paper, they will also be posted with this item.
We have one deferred item before us today: Item DM24.1.
The Mayor has designated Item CC24.16 on “Advancing Phase One of the Purpose-built Rental Housing Incentives Stream” as her first Key Matter and first item of business this afternoon.
The Mayor has designated Item EX19.3 on “Analysis of Driver Wages in the Vehicle-for-Hire Industry” as her second Key Matter and first item of business tomorrow.
The Notice of Motion run through is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. tomorrow, only if the Mayor’s Key Matters are completed.
That City Council consider the following items together as the first item of business on Day 1 of Council:
IE18.1 - Updates on Vision Zero Road Safety Plan; and
IE18.5 - Feasibility of Requiring Side Guards on All Commercial Trucks Operating in the City of Toronto, including Retrofitting the City's Fleet.
That City Council consider the following items together, as the first item after Member Motions on Day 2 of Council:
EC17.4-Shelter Safety Action Plan and Contract Amendments related to Lodging for Asylum Seekers and Refugees, and Community Safety Team Services; and
