Board Decision

The Board of Directors of CreateTO:

 

1. Approved and directed the Chief Executive Officer, CreateTO to implement a 1.75 percent Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) for all CreateTO employees for the 2024 fiscal year.

 

2. Adopted the confidential recommendation in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (February 23, 2024) from the Chief Executive Officer, CreateTO.

 

3. Directed the Chief Executive Officer, CreateTO, and the Vice President, People and Culture, CreateTO to work with the Deputy City Manager, Corporate Services, to initiate a review of CreateTO’s total compensation program, including policies and practices, and consider relevant comparator organizations, including the City of Toronto, and report back to the Board of Directors of CreateTO with findings and recommendations by the end of the third quarter of 2024.

 

4. Directed that Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (February 23, 2024) from the Chief Executive Officer, CreateTO, remain confidential in its entirety as it relates to labour relations and employee negotiations.
