The Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Advisory Committee:

1. Requested the Director, Equity and Human Rights, People and Equity to develop a list of 3 priority issues based on the Committee's discussion, and report back to the next Committee meeting on January 23, 2025.

Kara Santokie, Manager, and Nat Rambold, Gender Equity Consultant, from the Gender Equity Unit, People and Equity gave a presentation on 2SLGBTQ+ Advisory Committee 2023 - 2026 Work Plan.

Sana Imran, Associate Director, Clinical Services, and Angela Fong, Manager, Sexual Health Promotion gave a presentation on 2SLGBTQ+ Initiatives at Toronto Public Health.

Mohamed Shuriye, Director, Community Safety and Well-Being, and Scott Mckean, Associate Director, Violence Prevention and SafeTO, from Social Development, Finance and Administration gave a presentation on SafeTO - Toronto's Ten-Year Community Safety and Well-Being Plan.

Barb Besharat, Senior Project Manager, and Francesca Pecora, Policy Development Officer, from the Toronto Newcomer Office, Social Development, Finance and Administration gave a presentation on Proposed Work Plan Development Exercise, 2023 - 2026.

Members will continue their work planning process. Staff from Toronto Public Health and Social Development, Finance and Administration will present on their work and its impact on 2SLGBTQ+ communities, for consideration by the Committee.
