The Nominating Panel - Property Standards Committee recommends that:

1. City Council appoint the following candidates to the Property Standards Committee for a term of office ending October 12, 2027 and until successors are appointed:

North York Panel:

William Dolan 

Scarborough Panel:

Alisa Chaplick

The Nominating Panel - Property Standards Committee:

1. Directed that Confidential Attachments 1 to 3 to the report (March 18, 2024) from the City Clerk remain confidential in their entirety as they relate to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Property Standards Committee.

Candidates’ Biographies:

Alisa Chaplick

Alisa Chaplick has a range of experience in adjudication. She is the Chair of the Discipline Committee of the Home Construction Regulatory Authority. She is a member of both the Discipline Committee and the Registration Committee of the Professional Engineers Ontario and a member of the Discipline Committee of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants. She was recently appointed as a member of the Animal Care Review Board and the Fire Safety Commission within Tribunals Ontario.

William Dolan

William Dolan is a professional land use Planner and real estate development consultant. He has experience and expertise in dispute resolution within an appeal Tribunal environment. Mr. Dolan also has numerous years of exposure and experience as a previous member of the City's Property Standards Committee. He resides in north Toronto and has been previously active in the local community as a volunteer, including being President of the local Residents' Association for a 12-year period.

The Nominating Panel - Property Standards Committee will conduct interviews and recommend two candidates to City Council for appointment to the Property Standards Committee.
