City Council Decision
City Council on July 24 and 25, 2024, adopted the following:
1. City Council authorize the Executive Director, Corporate Real Estate Management, to enter into a Limiting Distance Agreement over the portion of lands as shown in Appendix A to Member Motion MM20.23, at nominal value, in consultation with and subject to terms developed with the General Manager, Parks, Forestry and Recreation, for the construction of the affordable housing project at 128 Havelock Street, with the value of the agreements to be secured in the Contribution Agreement between the City and the Neighbourhood Land Trust.

Speaker Nunziata advised Council that the provisions of Chapter 27, Council Procedures, require that Motion MM20.23 be referred to the General Government Committee. A two-thirds vote of the Council Members present is required to waive referral.
