City Council Decision
City Council on July 24 and 25, 2024, adopted the following:
1. City Council authorize the General Manager, Parks, Forestry and Recreation to accept the in-kind donation of up to $0.300 million from Moore Park Tennis Club for the purposes of refurbishing tennis courts at Moorevale Park in 2024, in compliance with the Policy for Outdoor Community Tennis Club Operations and the Donations to the City of Toronto for Community Benefits Policy, and to negotiate and execute any required agreements to facilitate the capital repairs and improvements, on terms and conditions satisfactory to the General Manager, Parks, Forestry and Recreation, and in a form and content satisfactory to the City Solicitor.
2. City Council authorize the General Manager, Parks, Forestry and Recreation to accept the in-kind donation of up to $0.300 million from Central Tennis Club for the purposes of refurbishing tennis courts at Tom Riley Park in 2024 and 2025, in compliance with the Policy for Outdoor Community Tennis Club Operations and the Donations to the City of Toronto for Community Benefits Policy, and to negotiate and execute any required agreements to facilitate the capital repairs and improvements, on terms and conditions satisfactory to the General Manager, Parks, Forestry and Recreation, and in a form and content satisfactory to the City Solicitor.
