Summary
The Project Director, Corporate Initiatives, City Manager’s Office will provide a presentation. It will include a review of Toronto’s government and key governance features such as the roles and responsibilities of City Council, Accountability Officers, the public service, advisory bodies such as the Housing Rights Advisory Committee and other aspects of the government. This presentation will also provide background to the housing commissioner review that was conducted in 2021 - 2022 and led to City Council’s creation of the Housing Rights Advisory Committee.
