The Economic and Community Development Committee:

1. Requested the General Manager, Economic Development and Culture, to explore ways to include support for the development of additional French language resources for City-owned and operated Museums and Cultural Centres in future applications for relevant programs with the Federal Government.

2. Requested the General Manager, Economic Development and Culture to explore a plan for a French language pilot at one City-owned and operated Museum and/or Culture Centre, which includes translated materials and resources for visitors including students and report back to the October 17, 2024 meeting of the Toronto Francophone Affairs Advisory Committee.

At its meeting on April 8, 2024, the Toronto Francophone Affairs Advisory Committee considered item FA2.1 and made recommendations to the Economic and Community Development Committee.
