The meeting commenced with the offering of medicines (smudging), and opening prayer by Elder Larry Frost.
Kate Basil, Chief of Staff, City Manager's Office addressed the Aboriginal Affairs Advisory Committee and asked the Members along with City staff to introduce themselves, and welcomed all persons participating in this meeting both in person and remotely.
Summary
Elder Larry Frost, will open the meeting, with smudging and prayer.
The Chief of Staff, City Manager's Office and the Executive Director, Toronto Aboriginal Support Services Council will provide opening remarks, including background and information for the path ahead.
