Community Council Decision

The Toronto and East York Community Council:  

 

1. Rescinded the existing parking by permit regulation in effect from 12:01 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., daily, on the odd (east) side of Triller Avenue from Queen Street West and King Street West.

 

2.  Authorized parking by permit regulation to be in effect from 12:01 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., daily, on the odd (east) side of Triller Avenue from King Street West to a point 45.5 metres south of Queen Street West.

 

3.  Prohibited stopping at all times on the east side of Triller Avenue between a point 35 metres south of Queen Street West and a point 10.5 metres further south.

 

4.  Authorized parking by permit regulation to be in effect from 12:01 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., daily, on the odd (east) side of Triller Avenue from Queen Street West to a point 35 metres south.

Summary

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision.

 

Transportation Services is recommending prohibiting stopping on the east side of Triller Avenue, between a point 35 metres south of Queen Street West and a point 10.5 metres further south.  The proposed amendment will improve sightlines for westbound vehicles exiting the first lane south of Queen Street West and will also provide manoeuvring space for delivery trucks at The Parkdale Hall.
