City Council Decision
City Council on December 13, 14 and 15, 2023, adopted the following:
1. City Council designate on-street electric vehicle charging station parking areas at the following location:
a. O'Connor Drive, east side, from a point 73 metres north of St. Clair Avenue East and a point 12 metres further north (2 spaces);
for the exclusive use of electric vehicles.
2. City Council amend City of Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 910, Parking Machines, Parking Meters and Mobile Only Zones and Chapter 950, Traffic and Parking, as described in Attachment 2 to the report (October 30, 2023) from the Director, Policy and Innovation, Transportation Services.

Community Council Recommendations
The Toronto and East York Community Council recommends that:
1. City Council designate on-street electric vehicle charging station parking areas at the following location:

This report outlines the parking by-law amendments required to implement the parking area for one (1) Electric Vehicle charging station location, for the roll out of a dual pedestal charging station. This location has been reviewed and supported by the local Councillor.
As the Toronto Transit Commission operates a transit service on the highway mentioned in this report, City Council approval of this report is required.
