Community Council Decision
The Toronto and East York Community Council:
1. Waived the polling requirement under the City's Traffic Calming Policy and authorized the installation of traffic calming (speed humps) on Merrill Avenue East between East Lynn Avenue and Moberly Avenue (south intersection).
2. Directed the City Solicitor to prepare a by-law to alter the roadway to install two speed humps on Merrill Avenue East between East Lynn Avenue and Moberly Avenue (south intersection), generally as shown on Attachment 1 to the letter (October 12, 2023) from Councillor Brad Bradford.

Summary
Residents have reached out to my office with concerns about road safety and speeding along Merrill Avenue East, between East Lynn Avenue and Moberley Avenue. As the majority of residents are in favour of this safety initiative, I would like to recommend the installation of speed humps.
