Community Council Decision
The Toronto and East York Community Council:
1. Waived the polling requirement under the City's Traffic Calming Policy and authorized the installation of traffic calming (speed humps) on Cedarvale Avenue between Lumsden Avenue and Cosburn Avenue.
2. Directed the City Solicitor to prepare a by-law to alter the roadway to install five speed humps on Cedarvale Avenue between Lumsden Avenue and Cosburn Avenue, generally as shown on Attachment 1 to the letter (September 11, 2023) from Councillor Brad Bradford.

Summary
Residents have reached out to my office with concerns about road safety and speeding along Cedarvale Ave, between Lumsden Avenue and Cosburn Avenue. My office polled local residents and the majority were in favour. In order to make the community safer for all, I recommend installing speed humps on this street.
