The Toronto and East York Community Council:

1.  Rescinded all existing parking prohibition in effect at all times on both sides of Norway Avenue between Lee Avenue and Kennilworth Avenue.

2   Rescinded all permit parking on both sides of Norway Avenue, between Lee Avenue and Kennilworth Avenue.

3.  Designated permit parking, from 12:01 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., on both sides of Norway Avenue, between Lee Avenue and Kennilworth Avenue.

4.  Rescinded the school bus loading zone on the north side of Williamson Road, between a point 9 metres west of a point opposite Wineva Avenue and a point 29 metres further west, for the period from July 1, 2023 to August 31, 2023.

5.  Rescinded the parking for restricted periods on the north side of Williamson Road, between a point opposite Hambly Avenue and a point 38 metres west of a point opposite Wineva Avenue, for the period from July 1, 2023 to August 31, 2023.

6.  Rescinded the no standing on the north side of Williamson Road, between a point opposite Hambly Avenue and a point 15 metres east of Hambly Avenue, for the period from July 1, 2023 to August 31, 2023.

7.  Rescinded the no stopping on the north side of Williamson Road, between a point opposite Wineva Avenue and a point 38 metres west of Wineva Avenue, for the period from July 1, 2023 to August 31, 2023.

8.  Designated permit parking, from 12:01 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., on the north side of Williamson Road, between a point opposite Wineva Avenue and a point opposite Hambly Avenue, for the period from July 1, 2023 to August 31, 2023.

9.  Directed that Norway Avenue be returned to pre-construction traffic and parking regulations when the project is complete.

Toronto Water will complete watermain repair work on Wheeler Avenue, north of Norway Avenue, which is scheduled to take place until October 31, 2023. The work will result in the loss of on-street permit parking spaces on Wheeler Avenue.

In order to ensure accessibility for residents requiring accessible parking during this project, City staff have requested the following amendments to parking regulations on Norway Avenue and on Williamson Road. Cycling will be maintained on Norway Avenue via shared lane.
