Community Council Decision

The Toronto and East York Community Council:

 

1. Waived the poling requirement under the City's Traffic Calming Policy and authorized the installation of traffic calming (speed humps) on Wolverleigh Boulevard, between Glebemount Avenue and Woodbine Avenue.

 

2. Directed the City Solicitor to prepare a by-law to alter the roadway to install three speed humps on Wolverleigh Boulevard, between Glebemount Avenue and Woodbine Avenue, generally as shown on the attached Drawing 421G-3902, dated August 2021, from the Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services.

Summary

Residents have reached out to my office with concerns about road safety and speeding along Wolverleigh Blvd. My office polled local residents and the majority were in favour. In order to make our community safer for all, I recommend installing speed humps on this street.
