Community Council Decision

The Toronto and East York Community Council:

 

1. Prohibited standing at all times on the north side of Sammon Avenue, between a point 42.5 metres east of Coxwell Avenue and a point 65 metres further east.

 

2. Amended the existing parking machine regulation in effect from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday to Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, at a rate of $3.00 per hour and for a maximum period of three hours, on the north side of Sammon Avenue, between a point 30.5 metres east of Coxwell Avenue and point of 26 metres further east, to be in effect between 30.5 metres east of Coxwell Avenue and point 12 metres further east.

 

3. Amended the existing no stopping prohibition in effect from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the north side of Sammon Avenue, between 30.5 metres east of Coxwell Avenue and a point 26 metres further east, to be in effect between 30.5 metres east of Coxwell Avenue and a point 12 metres further east.

 

4. Amended the existing no stopping prohibition in effect at all times on the north side of Sammon Avenue, between 56.5 metres east of Cowell Avenue and a point 74.5 metres further east, to be in effect between 107.5 metres east of Coxwell Avenue and a point 23.5 further east

Summary

As a part of construction, Michael Garron Hospital has installed a temporary parking layby on the north side of Sammon Avenue, east of Coxwell Avenue. In order for the bylaw to reflect these changes, staff suggest the below recommendations.
