Community Council Decision
The Toronto and East York Community Council:
1. Designated a school bus loading zone to be in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the east side of Ladysmith Avenue, between a point 20.5 metres north of Mountjoy Avenue and a point 30 metres further north.
2. Amended the existing maximum one-hour parking regulation in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday, on the east side of Ladysmith Avenue, between Danforth Avenue and Mountjoy Avenue to be in effect, between Danforth Avenue and a point 50.5 metres north of Mountjoy Avenue.
3. Authorized parking for a maximum period of one hour from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday, on the east side of Ladysmith Avenue, between a point 20.5 metres north of Mountjoy Avenue and a point 30 metres further north.
4. Authorized parking for a maximum period of 10 minutes from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the north side of Mountjoy Avenue, between Ladysmith Avenue and a point 54 metres east.
5. Prohibited parking from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the north side of Mountjoy Avenue, between Ladysmith Avenue and a point 54 metres east.
6. Amended the existing parking prohibition in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the north side of Mountjoy Avenue, between Ladysmith Avenue and Lamb Avenue to be in effect between a point 54 metres east of Ladysmith Avenue and Lamb Avenue.

Summary
This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision.
Transportation Services is recommending the designation of a school bus loading zone on the east side of Ladysmith Avenue, adjacent to Greenwood School, located at 24 Mountjoy Avenue, to provide a safe pick-up/drop-off area for students. This designation will result in loss of five on-street parking spaces on Ladysmith Avenue during the weekday, daytime periods.

Motions
That the following new recommendations be added:
4. Toronto and East York Community Council authorize parking for a maximum period of 10 minutes from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the north side of Mountjoy Avenue, between Ladysmith Avenue and a point 54 metres east.
