Origin

(May 5, 2023) Report from the Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services

Summary

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make the final decision.

Transportation Services is recommending the conversion of an existing advisory courier loading zone to an enforceable Delivery Vehicle Parking Zone on the north side of Balliol Street, east of Yonge Street.

During the course of the investigation, it was noted that there is a discrepancy between the posted signage and the existing parking regulations on the south side of Balliol Street, between Yonge Street and Mount Pleasant Road (west intersection).  Recommendations 5 and 6 in this report will correct this inconsistency.
