Summary

The owners of The Opera House, located at 735 Queen Street East, contacted my office about illegally parked vehicles on Lewis Street, between Queen Street E and June Callwood Way. The Opera House is a concert and event venue that often has buses stopped on the west side of Lewis Street. The Opera House has let my office know that vehicles are parking on the east side of Lewis Street in the no parking zone which causes congestion when buses are simultaneously parked. The recommendations in this letter strive to keep this street clear of illegally parked vehicles by changing this no parking zone to a no stopping zone
