The Toronto and East York Community Council:

1. Rescinded the existing on-street accessible loading zone in effect from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the west side of Manning Avenue, between a point 32 metres north of Harbord Street and a point 14 metres further north.

2. Rescinded the permit parking regulation in effect from 12:01 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. Monday to Friday, and 12:01 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Saturday and Sunday on the even (west) side of Manning Avenue,  from a point 32 metres north of Harbord Street to a point 14 metres further north.

3. Rescinded the permit parking regulation in effect from 12:01 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. all times, except no parking from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., from a point 45 metres south of Bloor Street West to Bloor Street West, on the even (west) side of Manning Avenue, from a point 46 metres north of Harbord Street to Bloor Street West.

4. Authorized permit parking to be in effect from 12:01 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Monday to Saturday, and 12:01 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., Sunday on the even (west) side of Manning Avenue, from Harbord Street to Bloor Street West.

5. Rescinded the existing parking prohibition in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the west side of Manning Avenue, between Bloor Street West and a point 45.7 metres south.

6. Rescinded the existing parking prohibition in effect at all times on the west side of Manning Avenue, between a point 44.2 metres north of Harbord Street and a point 1.8 metres further north.

7. Rescinded the permit parking regulation in effect from 12:01 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. all times on the even (west) side of Manning Avenue, from Harbord Street to a point 32 metres north.

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision.

Transportation Services is recommending the removal of an on-street accessible loading zone located on the west side of Manning Avenue, between a point 32 metres north of Harbord Street and a point 14 metres further north.

During the course of the investigation, it was noted that there is a discrepancy between posted signs and the existing parking regulations.  Recommendations 3 to 6 will correct these inconsistencies.
