The Toronto and East York Community Council:

1. Amended the existing parking prohibition in effect from the first day to the 15th day of each month from April 1 to November 30, inclusive, on the west side of Rhodes Avenue, between a point 43.5 metres south of the north end of Rhodes Avenue and the lane first north of Gerrard Street East to be in effect between Fairford Avenue and a point 43.5 metres south of the north end of Rhodes Avenue.

2. Amended the existing parking prohibition in effect from the 16th day to the last day of each month from April 1 to November 30, inclusive, on the east side of Rhodes Avenue, between the north end of Rhodes Avenue and the lane first north of Gerrard Street East to be in effect between Fairford Avenue and the north end of Rhodes Avenue.

3. Amended the existing parking prohibition in effect anytime, from December 1 of one year to March 31 of the next following year, inclusive, on the west side of Rhodes Avenue, between a point 268.2 metres north of Fairford Avenue and the lane first north of Gerrard Street East to be in effect between Fairford Avenue and a point 268.2 metres north.

4. Rescinded parking for a maximum period of one hour, in effect anytime, first day to the 15th day of each month from April 1 to November 30, inclusive, on the east side of Rhodes Avenue, between Lane first north of Gerrard Street East and Fairford Avenue.

5. Rescinded parking for a maximum period of one hour, in effect anytime, 16th day to the last day of each month from April 1 to November 30, inclusive, on the west side of Rhodes Avenue, between Lane first north of Gerrard Street East and Fairford Avenue.

6. Rescinded parking for a maximum period of one hour, in effect anytime December 1 of one year to March 31 of the next following year, inclusive, on the east side of Rhodes Avenue, between Lane first north of Gerrard Street East and Fairford Avenue.

7. Amended the existing permit parking regulation in effect from 12:01 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. at all times, except no parking from the 16th day to the last day of each month, inclusive; from April 1 to November 30, inclusive; no parking anytime from a point 32 metres south of the Canadian National Railway right-of-way to a point 6 metres further south on the odd (east) side of Rhodes Avenue, from Gerrard Street East to a point 240.8 metres north of Fairford Avenue, to be in effect, daily, except no parking from the 16th day to the last day of each month, inclusive; from April 1 to November 30, inclusive from Fairford Avenue to a point 240.8 metres north.

8. Authorized permit parking to be in effect from 12:01 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., daily, except no parking anytime from Gerrard Street East to Lane first north of Gerrard Street East, on the odd (east) side of Rhodes Avenue, from Gerrard Street East to Fairford Avenue.

9. Amended the existing permit parking regulation in effect from 12:01 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. at all times, except no parking from the first day to the 15th day of each month, inclusive; and no parking anytime from December 1 of one year to March 31 of the next following year, inclusive; on the even (west) side of Rhodes Avenue, from Gerrard Street East to a point 240.8 metres north of Fairford Avenue, to be in effect from Fairford Avenue to a point 240.8 metres north

10. Authorized permit parking to be in effect from 12:01 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., daily, except no parking anytime from Gerrard Street East to Lane first north of Gerrard Street East, on the even (west) side of Rhodes Avenue, from Gerrard Street East to Fairford Avenue.

11. Authorized parking for a maximum period of one hour, daily on the west side of Rhodes Avenue, between Lane first north of Gerrard Street East and Fairford Avenue.

12. Rescinded the existing on-street accessible parking space on the west side of Rhodes Avenue between a point 76.5 metres south of Fairford Avenue and a point 5.5 metres further south.

13. Authorized parking for a maximum period of one hour, daily on the east side of Rhodes Avenue, between Lane first north of Gerrard Street East and a point 89.5 metres further north.

14. Authorized parking for a maximum period of one hour, daily on the east side of Rhodes Avenue, between a point 95 metres north of Lane first north of Gerrard Street East and Fairford Avenue.

15. Prohibited parking at all times on the east side of Rhodes Avenue, between a point 89.5 metres north of Lane first north of Gerrard Street East and a point 5.5 metres further north.

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority to make a final decision.

Transportation Services is recommending overnight on-street permit parking be permitted on both sides of Rhodes Avenue, between Gerrard Street East and Fairford Avenue.  The proposed amendment will increase the number of available on-street parking spaces while maintaining the one-way traffic flow on Rhodes Avenue.
