The Toronto and East York Community Council:
1. Requested the General Manager, Economic Development and Culture to request Vivelab to present their consultation plan on the Night Economy for the Toronto and East York district at the April 12, 2023 meeting of the Toronto and East York Community Council.
2. Requested the General Manager, Economic Development and Culture to engage in thorough and robust consultation with resident, neighbourhood and community association in the Toronto and East York Community Council boundaries on the Night Economy Plan and provide a update on progress at the April 12, 2023 meeting of the Toronto and East York Community Council.

Summary
The General Manager, Economic Development and Culture, the Film Commissioner and Director, Entertainment Industries, and the Program Manager, Music Sector Development will give a presentation to the Toronto and East York Community Council on the status of the work toward developing the Night Economy Action Plan, specifically the consultation plan including schedule of and approach to public engagement including outreach and areas of enquiry, involvement of relevant City Divisions, and approval schedule for resulting reports across Divisions and through the consultant.
