The Toronto and East York Community Council:

 

1. Authorized the extension of the overnight on-street permit parking hours on Victor Avenue, between Howland Avenue and Logan Avenue from 12:01 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., 7 days a week to the new hours of 12:01 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., 7 days a week.

Summary

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision.

 

Transportation Services is recommending that overnight on-street permit parking hours be extended on Victor Avenue, between Howland Avenue and Logan Avenue, from 12:01 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., 7 days a week to the new hours of 12:01 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., 7 days a week.

 

Residents requested the extension of the overnight on-street permit parking hours on Victor Avenue, to improve parking flexibility and to allow the Parking Enforcement Unit, Toronto Police Service, to effectively control long term parking by non-residents through tagging and towing operations.
