Summary

This report requests that Toronto and East York Community Council deny the request for a permit to remove one privately owned tree located at 13 Lockwood Road. The applicant is seeking permission to remove the tree in order to reduce the potential hazard and maintenance issues that may be caused by the tree.

The subject tree is a Colorado blue spruce tree (Picea pungens) measuring 42 cm in diameter. The Tree By-laws do not support the removal of this tree as it is healthy and maintainable.
