Summary

This report requests that Toronto and East York Community Council deny the request for a permit to remove one privately owned tree located at 84 Furnival Road. The applicant is seeking permission to remove the tree to address concerns that the tree is leaning; unhealthy; and dropping needles and debris, which is preventing enjoyment and use of the pool.

The subject tree is a white pine tree (Pinus strobus) measuring 44.5 cm in diameter. The Tree By-laws do not support the removal of this tree as it is healthy and maintainable.
