1. Confirmed the Property Standards Order (October 2, 2022) for 25 Trudelle Street - Folder Number: 22 211888 PRS 00 IV, and in doing so, granted an extension of time to July 31, 2023.

2. Amended the Property Standards Order (October 2, 2022) for 25 Trudelle Street - Folder Number: 22 211888 PRS 00 IV, to include a correction of the following wording in the Required Action:

"Required Action

Eliminate the hazards and make all interior hand rails/guards not facilitate climbing."

The Property Standards Committee, Scarborough Panel gave the following reasons for its decision:

While the Property Standards Committee, Scarborough Panel would have appreciated more specific evidence from Municipal Licensing and Standards regarding the handrails in issue, the appellant’s representative advised, in response to questions from the Panel, that he was not disputing that the rails may not be in compliance. The appellant requested an extension to allow time to evaluate all the railings in the property so as to be able to bring them all into compliance.

The October 2, 2022 Property Standards Order was also amended to correct the wording in the “Required Action” section of the order.
