Panel Decision

The Property Standards Committee, Etobicoke York Panel:

1. Confirmed the Property Standards Order (August 3, 2023) for 2313 Islington Avenue, Folder Number: 23 163792 PRS 00 IV, and in doing so granted an extension of time to October 31, 2024.

2. Directed that, notwithstanding Part 1 in this decision, any back-up of the storm drain identified in Item 2 of the Property Standards Order (August 3, 2023) for 2313 Islington Avenue, Folder Number: 23 163792 PRS 00 IV, shall be rectified by November 1, 2023 by the Appellant, unless the obstruction is structural in nature.

3. Directed the Appellant to continue to work with Municipal Licensing and Standards, and advise the Municipal Standards Officer of the interim plans to mitigate any structural and also health and safety issues during the construction.

4. Directed the Appellant to continue to work with Municipal Licensing and Standards, and identify to the Municipal Standards Officer of any further structural and also health and safety issues identified during the remediation process including those that are identified by the retained professional engineers.
