1. Prohibited parking from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday, on the west side of Westgate Boulevard, between Armour Boulevard and Edinburgh Drive.

Summary

Over the past several months, our office has been attempting to resolve an issue with respect to the posted "No Parking" sign that is currently in place along Westgate Boulevard near the intersection with Armour Boulevard. As a compromise, I proposed that the aforementioned sign to be replaced with a sign that states an amended parking restriction of no parking between 8:00am to 6:00pm from Monday to Thursday. This proposed amended parking restriction will be along Westgate Boulevard between Armour Boulevard and Edinburgh Drive.

Recommendation to be deleted

1. Request Transportation Services to replace the "No Parking" sign with a new sign that states the proposed parking restriction of 8:00am to 6:00pm from Monday to Thursday.

and adopt instead the following recommendation:

1. North York Community Council prohibit parking from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday, on the west side of Westgate Boulevard, between Armour Boulevard and Edinburgh Drive.
