Community Council Decision

North York Community Council:

 

1. Rescinded the existing parking prohibition in effect at all times on the west side of Bessarion Road, between Caracas Road and a point 35 metres north.

 

2. Prohibited stopping at all times on the west side of Bessarion Road, between Caracas Road and a point 35 metres north.

Summary

This staff report is about a matter for which Community Council has delegated authority to make a final decision, provided that it is not amended so that it varies with City policy or by-laws.

 

Transportation Services is requesting North York Community Council to amend the existing parking prohibition in effect at all times on the west side of Bessarion Road, between Caracas Road and a point 35 metres north, to a stopping prohibition in effect at all times.

 

The proposed stopping prohibition will promote clear sight lines for eastbound left-turning motorists at the intersection of Bessarion Road and Caracas Road.
